If you send an offer to someone, you are bound to the content of the offer for a certain period of time. During this period, you cannot withdraw the offer or adjust it against the recipient’s will.
As a provider, you can attach any acceptance period to the offer. This allows you to decide how long you are bound to the offer.
If the offeror fails to set an acceptance period, he is bound to the offer until he can no longer expect the offer to be accepted according to the “normal course of events”. Exactly how long this is must be decided in each individual case and depends on various factors.
